Kinja'd!!!0

I don't think I ever did. It'd be a bit of a weird thing, I imagine, as the Big Mac was originally meant as an homage/ripoff of the Bob's Big Boy style burger. Me, I never much cared for the special sauce/hollandaise-ish thousand-island whatever on the Big Mac, so I've not got special incentive to try a BK version. Then again, I avoided Wendy's all the way through their redesign of their burger production and only rediscovered them recently - mostly due to our local Wendy's' former slow service and over-mayo-ing/dead lettuce-ing of burgers sticking in my mind (not a fan of mayo).

I say that same thing here in PA all the time. I see these vehicles with "inspection" stickers that I wouldn't drive onto the back of a two truck much less on an actual road. And yet they pass inspection and my wife's honda cr-v, which was 3 years old when we got it inspected, had to have tires replaced due to some technicality. I hate the way the government tries to steal our money under the guise of trying to keep our cars safe.

Good call. I was thinking box van, but the lack of roof over the cab makes sense that it was likely a class c camper.

Done better (much better!), this is actually a decent use of an old camper chassis. This one, however, is pretty tragic. Is the bed bungee-corded on?

Usually they are legal because they went through some backdoor means of getting that way, like a buddy with inspection stickers. If a cop was smart enough (and not a fat ass lazy piece of shit) to stop them they wouldnt be on the road and the "friend" would have some explaining to do.

Alas cops are awful.

I can't tell what state that is, but some states, I'll use Maryland as an example since this is the only state I know of personally that works this way, only requires you to inspect the vehicle ONCE, period. You get it inspected when you buy it, and its good until you sell it. If the state that this tru...va... vehicle is registered in operates the same way, he could have passed inspection long before totally tucking this thing up.

Even though I don't like this particular job, I have a hard time understanding all the 'redneck' comments about this. Yeah, it was jerry-rigged. Yeah it doesn't look good. But it is evidence of a working system we have here. A system that doesn't stymie innovation (even though this might not look like the best example). A system that allows people to build in their garages things that would have stayed only as drafts in their heads. And if out of 1000 of these contraptions we might get a MPG killer like the one that was featured a few weeks back (can't find the link now, sry), I say Redneck All The Things.

They didn't like being engaged on pavement because it was locking the center diff. This would send equal power to both the front and the rear axles. With the center diff locked there would need to be some slipping due to the different paths of travel between the axles. Without the rear wheels being driven this would not be an issue, just as it's not and issue when the front drive shaft isn't engaged during normal driving.

I live on the PA border in Ohio. This thing would totally be legal in my area. No inspect. No emissions. However the police can do random inspections but I've never had one done. I've only ever gotten a warning about window tint. My F-150 would not pass inspection in WV (yes lol) but I drive it daily in Ohio. It's rusted pretty bad, exhaust fell off somewhere past the cat, no problems in Ohio (mechanically sound though, I'm not an idiot)! I have a jeep with no floor on the driver side and it's ok to drive in Ohio but I just cruise in the woods with it.
